2 men face murder, weapons charges for deadly shooting of father visiting Marist College for family weekend

Two men arrested after police said a father visiting his child for family weekend at Marist College was shot and killed by inside a hotel were arraigned in court Monday. 

Police are attempting to sort out what prompted the destructive taking shots at the Patio Marriott in Poughkeepsie, CBS2’s Alecia Reid revealed.During a news gathering Monday, Police Boss Joseph Carefree said officials answered not long after the emergency call Sunday and discovered a man hurrying to the inn.”They put themselves in harm’s way and took these individuals in guardianship, since this present circumstance, it might have been a great deal more terrible,” said Dismissive.As per police, the suspects had a room at the lodging. He was denied bail.Taylor, 26, has one earlier lawful offense and was accused of two counts of criminal ownership of a weapon. His bond was set at $1million for $500,000 cash bail.The two men are destitute. It was not promptly clear the way in which long they were at the inn for.”We will leave no assets unturned. We will save no asset to carry those engaged with this to responsibility,” said Weishaupt.Policing said there were no ties between the suspects and casualty, whose name has not been delivered by police.The Marriott stays a crime location and is briefly shut. The inn is somewhat more than four miles from the Marist grounds. Local people told CBS2 it’s every now and again loaded up with visitors visiting the school.”We will keep on noting the call and safeguard the almost 300,000 inhabitants of Dutchess Province, said Sheriff Kirk Imperati.Weishaupt said the case will move to a great jury one week from now.
